Can you acknowledge that living inside your own head and looping back to those age-old assertions of “what happened” reduces your ability to release the toxic fumes that cloud your judgment and feed your fear? Why would you keep living inside of your dogged resistance to letting go of guilt and shame for good? Why keep stirring the poison stew of “the things you cannot change?”

Move on, sister. What’s the worst that can happen?

Live like you believe in the transformation that has been your journey. Raise the stakes on your own accountability to what you know to be true. Trust the healing story.

Move on, sister. What’s the worst that can happen?

The kindness you have shared supports you. The friends you have trusted support you. The art you have made supports you. The dogs you have nurtured support you. The partner with whom you wake supports you.

Move on, sister. What’s the worst that can happen?

The wind and sun and moon and stars and rivers and lakes and oceans and hills and valleys and mountains and deserts and seashores support you. The regrets of humankind support you. The tears and laughter and aches and joys of the ancestors support you.

Move on, sister. What’s the worst that can happen?

All the beauty you have known supports you. The love you have received and given supports you.

Start the day knowing this, sister: There is only meeting the moment, one inhale and exhale at a time.
